Challenge

Ozium Air Sanitizer needed to make some noise in the crowded air care category. Rather than competing for attention in the usual channels, we saw an opportunity to make Ozium part of a wider cultural conversation by tapping into one of the brand’s most dedicated, yet often misrepresented fanbases.

Solution

The cannabis community has embraced Ozium for years to eliminate the stank after a session. The impact of this trend can be seen in the over 50 hip-hop tracks that shout out Ozium by name, including one by none other than Wiz Khalifa. "Clear the Air" is a head bopping collaboration between the renowned rapper and surfer/singer Makua, serving as a call to not only clear the air of certain smells with Ozium but also the stigmas that surround those smells. To build upon the impact of the music video and expand our audience further we created custom Clear the Air merch and exclusive giveaway items, including a bespoke surfboard, a one-of-a-kind guitar and custom bling from legendary jewelers If & Co., all up for grabs on a dynamic campaign website.
